 I am an educator: My belief is that every child should have an opportunity to receive the best education possible starting from an early age. I have spent the last thirty years educating others from full-time second grade substitute teacher at Rosa L. Parks Elementary, an Adjacent Professor at Alamance Community College (Early Childhood), and a Childcare Director/Owner. For the past five years I have been Co-owner/Director of Center of Excellence Child Care and Academy in Hillsborough, NC. When I am not serving others I spend my time making candles, reading, and creating lifelong memories with my grandchildren. I have always wanted my life journey to be an inspiration to the next generation.my free time (very rare these days), I love to garden, hike, camp, and travel. I love to enjoy the live music and the restaurants here in the Asheville area.
